The age of mediocrity is already here.

Nothing can replace the human imagination, the stories and pictures into which the soul and power of the mind and experience of the living have been invested.
When, while generating an image, you see the remains of a Patreon logo on top, you immediately understand that this crap is simply stealing.
So bad, people could stop developing their imagination and lose it entirely, relying on generative neural networks.
There is no such thing as Artificial Intelligence. There are only models trained by humans on tagged materials. It can only replicate what has already been created.
This is all purely commercial and demeans and devalues human talent, the desire to develop, and the hard work that goes along with it.
What will this mean for the future development of humanity?
In my opinion, it's simply a loss of development opportunities for our minds. When they can simply generate something, why would they need to develop their spatial thinking, knowledge of composition, knowledge of proportions and the algorithm for constructing and creating a drawing, and color theory when a machine algorithm steals it all for them from the greatest artists of entire web?
And then what? Humanity will become dumb and lazy as never before.
So let people develop in peace. Your collaboration with this crap is ****ing your creation I mean - Whentai.
What joy can there be in a image created in such a vile way?
An empty, emotionless cluster of pixels. And the amount of this plagiarized crap, stolen style and hard work of artists is endless.

Some artists use AI to fill in backgrounds so they can concentrate on the characters

@Moldrad Nah... Literally people only search the backgrounds on google images, I hate to draw backgrounds so also used to do that but at some point I decided to stop and do all my self, I once tried to use DA AI actually to get backgrounds but never got any that I really wanted to use and stopped trying, maybe the DA AI is **** but have not tried another AI again since then

Reality is that at least 90% of people who use AI is for get full pictures ready to be shared, not many will use it for reference porpuse or something else...

I stopped drawing and doing commissions for personal reasons, but also because I saw the impact of AI on digital art. I thought that with something like that, I wouldn't have a chance, especially since you charge for what you do. Why pay for what AI will give you for free? But I wanted to return to this great platform, and seeing that people here still value human work and effort has motivated me to come back. I'll gladly start drawing again :) ???
